if a WM fabric department has stopped getting new stuff, it means they are on the chopping block. if you haven't already developed a relationship with the women who work in that department, start now. they all sympathize with the customers and will let you know what they know as soon as they know it.

there are some fabrics at my local WM i really, really like and can't find anywhere else. they are already within my budget, so i am not waiting for them to go on sale when they start to close down. they'll be gone in minutes once they do go on sale. i'm buying as much as i can afford from each paycheck. when they do start selling off, if there's anything left when i get there from the higher priced stuff i still want, i'll raid my piggy bank and go as nuts as the supply permits.

i know many disagree, and it isn't true of every fabric there, but i think some of the stuff at WM is much nicer than you can get anywhere at any price. i may have to plan a trip to Raleigh. ;-)
