Agree with you - I feel much the same, as I worked and taught at 2 LQS in years past.
There are at least 3 longtime LQS locations here in the metro Houston area that have closed up shop in the last year or so ... Not out of business, but 2 are online sales only now and the latest one has only machines and limited pre-cuts in the store.
Yes, I can order online from them ... but there's no physical quilt shop now to visit and enjoy or take classes from ... a trend of the future, I'm afraid !!
