Joyful Celebration
My sister's birthday is next week. Several months ago I gave her several of my quilting books and asked her to mark quilts that she liked. Two of my favorite books are Material Obsession and Material Obsession2. From her choices I chose the one to make. She is also a person who loves purple. I have made her 4 quilts and all have purple as the main fabric. I chose a focus fabric and then picked fabrics to complement the colors. I had a wonderful time making this quilt and can't wait to give it to her. I call it Joyful Celebration because it just makes me happy to look at it. I hope you will enjoy it too. It is Playground Days from Material Obsession 2.
