Oh, that's TERRIFIC!!!! I just LOVED their first book - I still want to make everything in it. I'm so happy that this one is just as good.

Either their second or third book, "Jelly Roll Inspirations" were quilts by their customers - and that book just didn't have "the look" that their first book(s) had. It was like the quilts lost their freshness or something.

The one thing I would change about their directions is that they advocate leaving extra fabric in place when you use the sew and flip method. The darker fabrics often shine right through the lighter ones that overlie them and it's distracting on quilts that are so beautiful in every other way. Use a lot of starch to stabilize your fabric before you cut, but I wouldn't recommend leaving all that extra fabric in place. Besides, if you consider them "bonus" HST's, you can make miniature quilts out of them!
