I love your kind of quiltin' Lizzy!!! Yours tell stories and are incredibly beautiful. I prefer to quilt like you. Right now I'm doing a traditional, something different for me. It's ok because I can do some really fun FMQ on it.
I like the water around your duck. Gives it lots of dimension. Maybe that's why I like quilts like your? You have dimension and movement and stories and variety. Winner of a combination!
