I am so glad everyone here was able to cheer you up, and give you the motivation to go back and reevaluate your quilt. I am a new quilter as well, and I am sure I will be where you are one of these days soon. But, as a long time sewer I can tell you some thing I learned long ago. IF it seems to not make sense, or its not going together right, sometimes it means you need to take a break from it. It always seemed like the next day, I wondered why I had such a problem with the pattern I was looking at. It was perfectly clear the next day, or went together without a hitch.
