If 5 inches is your cutting size and not your finished size you would get 56 squares per yard so you would need 3 yards which would give a little left over. If you use a fat quarter it is 12- 5 inch squares per fat quarter or 48 per 4 fat quarters. Depends on if you are using multiple fabrics or just one.
