I think names go by generation. Often the names that were popular in our grandmothers' generation are chosen for our babies. I notice some new babies being names Audrey and Agnes, which were popular in my mother's generation. I am a 60-something named Linda, after Linda Darnell....she must have been one-great-actress to have so many of us named for her! Did you know there is a Linda Club?
