If you want "just a hint" of color, I'd go with crayola. Be sure to heat set, and I'd do a little practice piece to make sure it is what you want. Sounds interesting. I have a couple small red work blocks that I have done, but not finished. I think I'll try a bit of color on them. Might perk they up a bit! Thanks for the idea!
