I know I should post this elsewhere but you all do such beautiful quilting I have a question. I made this today on my Davis VF. So now it needs to be quilted. I am going to stitch in the ditch but what would you do for the insert? I don't want to stitch across it. Do you think it would be ok to stitch in the ditch around the black border and leave the rest? Or would it bubble up when washed?
What about using white thread or invisible thread and doing a couple of straight or diagonal lines around the image corners so you can "quilt" without distracting from the design?
