Here is an easy recipe for freezer corn, and you don't have to blanch it on the cob beforehand.

Frozen Sweet corn
10 cups raw corn, cut off the cob
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 lb butter (8 tbsp)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
Cool. Pour into freezer containers or freezer bags and freeze.

Enjoy!
