4 strips were used the cut in to squares. then sewn kinda like a pinwheel is done. and yes I do want to try a whole quilt like that. some day

Beautiful quilt! Have you tried making a whole quilt using your block method -- that would look great, too. How many rows of strips do you cut into blocks. Think I'm going to try that for my next quilt. Great idea!
