Yes, the 4" blocks are in a different order...there is no Contents list for them either. I don't know why, it would make it easier to locate them. You can use the Contents list for the 10" blocks since it is in your book instead of printing out the first post.
The instructions are very easy if you don't overlook anything. I have a wandering eye so have been using a ruler to ensure I don't miss anything & cut everything as it says.
I've been cutting out the fabric for the blocks so they are ready to sew when I am. So far I've cut out fabric for the blocks up to the Army Star (both 10" & 4") block. I thought I'd be farther along with the cutting but had some other things I had to get done. I plan on getting the rest of the blocks cut & into its plastic page with its paper templates by the end of the week so I can get started sewing Mother's Favorite Star.
I'm also considering using QAYG for these blocks, but haven't decided on the sashing yet.
