Default Boston Commons quilted by Aubrey's Quilting Creations

I believe this little quilt is a version of a Boston Commons and was just fun quilt to work on. I quilted this all freehand with a picture from a book to refer too. The book is Machine Heirloom Quilting and is where my customer referred to to make this quilt and she wanted it quilted as shown in the book. The one in the book was 70x70 and this quilt was only 55x55 so it made a few of the white areas a little tight in places to get everything worked in. While quilting all the scrappy squares I remember many of the fabrics used as they where found in my grandmothers stash or I had clothing made from the same fabrics. The squares have a cross-hatch design with the inner white border has corner feathers in each of the four corners with stippling filling in the rest of the border. The outer white border is filled with curling feathers. Thanks for looking.
