I don't have a problem with it. I normally use Aurifil because when piecing the 2 threads makes a difference in the accuracy of the seams and total block. I tried Connecting Threads for the price then read the reviews on here and contacted the co. They said they stand behind their products and that if anyone ever has a problem to let them know and they'll take care of it. I didn't notice it being any more linty than others that I use. I agree with another post; I paid thousands for my machine and it should (and does) use any thread that I put to it.
