I would agree, starch and
lite heat and bond....I recently made a quilt with fish and had to add bubbles.... when I appliqued them I really had to shorten my stitch and take my time, sometimes turning every stitch to make a perfect circle......but it can be done.....just not quickly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
