Ya I saw the one on eBay because I was not very familiar with this machine when I first got it so I looked them up and was amazed at the price.
I just love how it sounds! It's so quiet! I have a Brother and it's not as smooth as the Viking. I am just in awe over here about this machine. There's some videos on YouTube about it and the person shows how it sews like 14 layers of canvas and how it sews leather..wow. I was stunned by how it handled them like a champ. Check it out. It was cool
@PrettyCurious--ya, lol, I hear ya there. I have a few myself and non-sewers wonder, "why do you need another sewing machine? Don't you have one?" They just don't get it.
