Um, I don't really like the pockets. Even if you quilted over them, it doesn't seem like the quilt would have the same look. There are so many methods for making flying geese. I find the easiest one for me is to use rectangles and squares, sew the squares to the ends of the rectangle with a diagonal seam and then flip the triangles up and press. You can chain piece your heart out!
