In looking at my friend's facebook page, she has a Hawaiian turtle on the header & that what this quilt is. The problem is it is only 24" x 36" finished and it would not really work very well to just add boarders given the style of the quilt - it's a two fabric applique technique. So the question is, is this too small for a baby quilt? I see wildly varying baby quilt sizes online. What do people think? Oh, and I also thought about trying to photocopy and enlarge the pattern but I'm not sure I could pull it off. Thanks for your thoughts!
I made a small one like this and many on the board said that this is a perfect size b/c the child will be able to carry it around when it is a little older.
