You could quilt a pinwheel in each plain block. Or trace the churn dash block and use that as a quilting guide in the plain blocks. Or you could put baby feet in the plain blocks also.
I think pinwheels or something similarly swirly would be good. This is an adorable little quilt! I'd never seen one with pinwheels in it before. I love it! Please post again after you get it done!
