Hahaha - well, I live in Northeast Ohio near the lake so I understand your feelings about basements. Most basements in this area get wet to say the least, but we do have bi-levels and people finish their basements so it's possible to have a dry basement around here...if you've got the cash to make it so. We don't have a basement but have a crawl space, and though I don't miss spiders and wet corners I DO miss space to stash my junk. I'm a junker who goes through a clutter free period about every three years to clear out my hoard. I have always teased my Husband, "I'm just one tragic life event from being on hoarders..." You know how they always say things on that show like, "Momma always did like to collect things...then Daddy died and she stopped taking out the garbage...and that was thirty years ago."
