sorry to hear of your accident. It set my teeth on edge. I did something a long time ago & so can feel your pain. I put my lg Olfa (locked) in the back pocket of my jeans & went on several errands (in & out of car) last stop it nailed my posterior. & cut my jeans. Cushioned so didn't bleed in the car. Hope you heal fast & if you can't quilt can use the time to come up w/ new ideas for future quilts. When the foot is ready of course.
