Welcome from Florida. I advise against setting up a spare bedroom for your sewing room. I had boomerang children. Everytime I got my sewing room just the way I liked it, one of them would return home. I think it was a jynx. I finally have my sewing room in what was the garage and it works out great. No one can see my mess when they come to visit.
