I started quilting to keep me busy while caregiving my DMIL. She needed more and more help as she reached the ripe old age of 95. I had her do a lot of ironing and folding to keep her busy too. We shared a lot of time together in the sewing room. I keep on sewing in part for her and when I come across a fabric I know she handled I get a smile from her. It is wonderful to have the memories and the future to look to.
