Brenda Hennings has a book with multiple mariner compass patterns as well as full quilt patterns. Peggy Martin has a Craftsy video that contains a "Sailor's Delight" pattern that's very nice. Both of these women use paper piecing to make the pattern. I am currently making one by Brenda Hennings but found that the one by Peggy Martin was easier for me to do, especially due to the video and great directions.
