Why would you want to cut scraps at all if you don't have an immediate use for them? Short of cutting a long string off a side or so.
My thoughts too. Thank goodness I just had them in a bin. I have discovered the fun of making fabric bowls with 1" pieces wrapped around clothesline. Like peanuts, hard to stop at one!
