After lunch, I put my baby down for a nap and decided to finish one more that I new would be quick. I made a "Maple Leaf" for oldcatlady (Extra swap). Her fabric was brow with leaves, fish and deer. I saw the leaves and knew that I had to make a "Maple Leaf", hopefully not everyone will be making leaves

And Marytoddliz, I am glad you like your school block. I had a lot of fun, and frustration, making that one. It was partly paper-pieced and I have only tried paper-piecing a few times. I am thinking of making a second for my little sister who is a school teacher. I thought I could quilt up a little block to make a little wall hanging for her classroom.
