We have an active sewing group at our church that meets once a week.....at least. It is amazing how many ways there are to help your local community as well as missions abroad when you can sew. Some of the things that we make include pillowcase dresses, school uniforms, Comfort Pillows for breast cancer patients, gift bags, lap quilts, shorts, peasant blouses, ponchos, curtains, to name a few. It's one of the most rewarding things that we do. And we have lots of fun and fellowship, too. Consider starting a group in your neighborhood. You'll be glad you did! Blessings to all of you for your charitable sewing.
