I had to take my dear little Viking to the sewing machine doctor - it was very traumatic - leaving her all alone in a strange place.
For all the years and all the thread miles, we've never been separated before. It's been 24 hours and i'm still nervously waiting for the diagnosis. Pulled out my box of hand applique patterns last night - have to keep busy at a time like this, right? Please wish us luck for a speedy (and relatively low cost) return to normal.
