What a great idea! Never occurred to me. I had my husband make me really tall cutting table because my back just could not take it anymore. He did not understand that this was an emergency on my part. He took the hint after I took over the the island in the kitchen. Beeing a foodie he realized that there will be no cooking as long as the fabric occupies the kitchen.
I love my tall cutting table and my husband who made it.
