I also am a "collector" of fabrics from these swaps, along with all the other fabrics I have. I had a friend stop by the other day and we walk thru my fabric room to get back to our den area...on the way thru she stopped, looked around, and said to me she thought she was at JoAnns or another fabric store! I just had to laugh...My lqs owner and friend was throwing out her empty bolt boards..so I bring them home and store fabrics that are 1/2 yard+ on them...my dh lined one wall with shelving, and I have the bolts on them..I have smaller amounts stored on comic book boards arranged in my mom's old china hutch..and on another wall dh made "cubby like" shelves that I have fqs, layer cakes, charms, jelly rolls, etc. stored on. Lastly I have scraps organized and stored by color in plastic shoe bins...so it just might resemble a store...I guess (said with eye roll and grin). Now if only I could get all my quilts finished as well as I seem to swap and accumulate fabrics!!
