I have made several. I have posted several pics of them here on the board. I called them memory quilts. Each one turned out wonderful. One of them was for a lady that passed away before her grandbaby arrived. She loved the outdoors, so i incorporated some of the animals that she loved. For instance, she was a turkey hunter, so I appliuqed a turkey, and other things that she loved...A couple of others that I did were for a son and daughter that lost their dad. He was a Georgia bulldogs fan, so I thread painted a georgia bulldog on each of the quilts, and he loved to fish, so, of course, there were several different things I did, one appliqued a fisherman, and fish...just things that he loved. Everyone was very pleased with their memory quilts...Good luck with yours.
