It's mostly plain laziness not to resize pictures. All you have to do is read instructions and with youtube you can see it done on just about every picture editing program there is. It is too simple to learn to do. Picasa is free and will do everything you need to a pic. Useful info in that post - but some of us really had/have absolutely no idea of even where to start looking for some of those things - or understand them if we did find them.
As far as that goes, even the term 'resizing' is confusing to me -
From the many anguished pleas for help in posting photos, I don't think 'laziness' is/was part of the problem.
