That's still true...sometimes it's very different indeed. My new favorites are RJR Cotton Supreme and P&B Color Spectrum. Both have a much nicer hand than Kona, as does Moda Bella.
I agree, I hand quilt and P&B is so nice to hand quilt. I wish these other brands were more available and had as many colors as Kona.
