I'm working my way through Region 8 - just 7 shops and a friend and I are going to do most of them next weekend. Went to Lake Jackson's Calico Cat Fabric Shop. It was awesome! Such friendly and helpful people. The lady is the fabric side and her husband does the machine selling and service side. Had lots of fun things to look at. This region has scratch off tickets at each shop. I'm "0 for 2" right now
but hope to do better at the other 5 shops next weekend.
The Aggie game was on and there's a big TV in a side room of the shop. Our two husbands just moved in there with the shop husband and the three ladies had a grand old time on the fabric side. This was our first visit to this shop, but we'll certainly be going there again.
