There's usually an abundance of ironing boards at Thrift Stores.
And at minimal prices!
Just check that they sit solid and are at the height you want.

Plus ... I would never have a narrow ended ironing board for quilting again.
Too awkward when pressing yardage or quilt tops.

A Thrift acquisition takes away the guilt of adding a piece of plywood to the top of an expensive new one to create the perfect quilter's pressing centre!
