Why is it so important that the blocks be "exactly" that size? When I make a block (unless it is for a swap), I make the block to the size that it works out to be. As long as all your geese are the same size, then the end-result may be a little larger or a little smaller.

People always ask me what size my quilt will be. My answer: I won't know until it's done.
