Welcome. If you have friends with different machines maybe you could ask to try their's out to get a feel for what brand,features you like. If you have a dealer nearb you ask for their advice and try all the brands they sell. They might take your old machine as a trade in if you want to sell it. Some dealers also have used machines for sale that have been taken in on upgrades.I would not buy the least expensive model of the brand you are interested in and I would suggest not buying from Walmart or Joannes type stores or from ebay . If you buy from a dealer they often have free classes to help you learn about your machine. good luck with your decision.
