I only hand quilt and do a combo of spray baste and pinning. If you spray too heavily, then quilting is difficult and will tear your hands apart. The baby bargello i am currently working on will most likely get basted with stitching and pins instead. My wrists and fingers can't handle the spraying too much anymore.
