There is a Quilt Guild in east central Mississippi who for several years has made lap quilts, wheel chair and walker caddies for private nursing homes in their immediate area as well as veterans' nursing home and nursing home within 50-75 mile area, in fact as many as 75 for some of the nursing homes. This is some of the community projects they have done as well as learn different techniques in quilting for themseleves. Most of these are quilted, some by hand, some by machine or hand tied.
