Default Hexagon Star Stack n Whack FINISHED--Sunglasses may be needed!

This is the Hexagon Star previously posted only now it is finished. It was quilted by a longarmer in SE Iowa whom I met as a result of a referral. She does such beautiful work and the quilting really "lit" it up and made it sing, in my opinion. She put feathers and butterflies n the green negative spaces using matching thread, line dancing (I think that is what she called it) in the triangles of the star using a variegated thread that really pops out on the black fabric. Got it back and bound it up and put it in the finished pile. As you can see, the colors are much brighter and the pattern so different than the Peaceful Garden that I posted earlier this week. Binding isn't my thing so to get two done in 4 days gives me a great deal of satisfaction. I have enjoyed looking at all the quilts posted these past few months and I hope you enjoy this one as well.
