I would probably go with the 12" big blocks, or maybe 9", but no smaller. It will be for a rodeo event so it will be in a cowboy fabric of some sort. Thought about the burgandy and blue handkerchief material and doing the big blocks in one color and small blocks in the other, but just not for sure yet until I get out to look at material. I'm an hour away from the closest fabric stores (except our Wal-Mart which doesn't have much of a selection AT ALL). I may find something I like MUCH better. I'm still tossing all the ideas around.
