I feel your pain. My 830 needs to go in the shop yet again as the sensor that reads if the dual feed is in use is now acting up. I think this makes 6 repairs in less than 2 years:< Last time it wasn't covered by warranty and I'm sure I'll be out of pocket this visit too. I'm trying to hold out until it needs the annual service and cleaning. But, that's hard to do when the machine keeps telling me I have the dual feed activated and to switch to a "D" foot.. How many bad sensors do these machines have?? Grrr....
