I did have help with half of the blocks, the quilting and the binding, but the rest is my work.

The background is actually an exact topographical map of the area between the City of Poulsbo and the Suquamish Tribal lands. I pieced the land together and did a bargelo affect and appliqued it on top of the strip-pieced water. I used Mapquest of all things, to get the topography correct. The border is based on a woven bag I saw on the Suquamish Museum website. The corner logos are from the city of Poulsbo and the museum logo. The inspiration for the blocks came from the museum website, a local Poulsbo historian, and my imagination.
