I feel your pain. I've, slowly but consistently worked on a baby monster quilt for my 1st great nephew. I finally got through all the problems I encountered (the first one I made--different colors, different person), I got through with NO problems. This one has been a mess. But, as I say, I fought through and Thursday I started on the last step: echo quilting around the monsters.
Things started going wrong fast. Now I have to rip out all the echo quilting; not an easy job.
So...o....o, I thought I'd give it a rest and do a simple self binding receiving blanket. Wrong! I ripped out, measured again, cut again, sewed; well really, one fabric turned the wrong way (right side to wrong side!). Jeez.
After 3 days of horrendous mistakes, I am NOT touching fabric today!
This too shall pass.
