My faithful Bernina 1630 has been under the weather for a little over a year, and I can't afford to get it fixed. I was borrowing a Viking 440, but the owner eventually wanted it back (
) so another friend GAVE me one of her 301s (second run) (tan) that is beautiful to behold, and runs like a dream.
I'm curious however about the zig-zag attachment, and whether it works. They always have one in the original box for about $20.00 on eBay but no info.
Opinions? In time I'll get my 1630 repaired, but in the meantime, I'd like to see what the 301 can do.
