Default Prep Work

Off to the quilt shop this morning. It ate up about three hours and $200, but I really need to replenish my 1895 batiks. Spent the afternoon tracing flowers and veggies. I did two sets of the flowers for two different quilts. Then trimmed around the fusible pieces so I don't gum up too much extra fabric when I fuse them down. I have snapdragons, hollyhocks, sunflowers, cosmos, 3 kinds of peppers, carrots, beans, tomatoes etc. Now to trace the larger pieces and get them ready to fuse. The prep work is what takes my time but at least I am making progress! This blogging seems to be helping with some accountability, at least so far!
