A comment under another thread made me wonder about the best teacher gifts in today's world. She mentioned she had to buy many of the supplies for her classroom out of her personal money. I am thinking that cash or a gift card would be better appreciated than a home made item. What do you think?
You are right.....A gift certificate would be a perfect gift. My daughter is a teacher and believe me, she spends a whole lot of money out of her own pocket for school supplies and even books for her class. She has been a teacher for 15 years and this goes on year after year. Many teachers give so much. We never realize how much they do.
