I did not think they made sheets that are 100 percent poly, I learned something. Back in the day when quilting was not as popular as it is. I almost always used sheets that had poly in them for backings. They wash and wear well. I machine quilted mine. Just a note slippery fabric is a real pain to sew on ... it slips and slides on the machine. If you are going to machine quilt it your self .. can you quilt it top down? That way the cotton is on the machine bed , not the slippery fabric. Consider a stipple type quilting.
