Hi kd124 and thank you so much! That sure looks like a disappearing 9 patch to me in your avatar or am I just all 9-patched out? ha.ha. Anyway, your avatar is just so lovely like so many others on here. We'll all have to have an "avatar day" where we do nothing but change our avatars!!!
I just changed my avatar. I think you are talking about the blocks of blues/teals and browns. If so it is just chunks of leftover fabric and is actually the back of the quilt I intended to put as my avatar. Before that I had a brighter one; it was orange and green (mostly) and was a OBW. Anyway, thank you for the compliment. I am going in now to change to the pic I intended to use which is the front of the "chunks" one.
